Magnetic Tic Tac Toe Board

3D print your Magnetic and portable Tic Tac Toe Board

How to Guide

Step 1

Download the file from Printables.com at this link

https://www.printables.com/model/919822-magnetic-tic-tac-toe-set-and-carrying-case

This print is 4" x 4" x 0.8"  or 100mm x 100mm x 20mm
This print has 4 total pieces that need to be printed out and takes around 3-8 hours depending on your printing speed
This print does require 44 magnets for full functionality, 3mm diameter and 3mm in length.  They can be purchased here:

Step 2

Open the file in your slicing software.

When printing the top case, you can change the filament color after 3 layers like shown in the photo.  This will give you a different color between your tic tac toe squares.

Step 3

Magnets can be added after the print is completed.  Use some superglue if you have troubles with magnets staying in place.  PAY ATTENTION TO MAGNET POLARITY (which directions you install the magnets)

Step 4

Now to print the X and O pieces:

Any pieces labeled open bottom, do not require to pause the print for magnet insertion.  Magnets can be added after the print is completed.  Use some superglue if you have troubles with magnets staying in place.

Any pieces labeled closed bottom, do require you to pause the print for magnet insertion.  This looks nicer, but may lead to more challenges during printing.

Step 5

Now you're all finished!  If you assembled all the magnets correctly, the pieces should align perfectly centered in each square.  Also the pieces can be stored inside the case for when you're done playing.

Enjoy!!
